Hangin’ in there. Been nonstop busy. Had some stressors recently, boo! Alas, I’m not letting it get me down. I joined a bit of a “pool” with my friends – we will put a certain amount of money in the pot and whoever loses the most each month percentage-wise – gets the moolah! Should be good fun 
Spent New Year’s Eve with my parents and my bro’s fam. NY Eve is my mom’s birthday, so we always spend it with her if we are in the same state/continent, lol. I believe there’s only been a handful in my life where I haven’t been with her. Love her! So that was really nice.
Then New Year’s day, we were invited to play some Texas Hold’em at a friend’s house and enjoy some food. Before that, though, we went out to lunch (where I shocked myself by ordering a soup and salad while I watched hubby across the table nosh on a Monte Cristo sandwich) and brought the kids to watch the Princess and the Frog. Then, at my friends house, I stuck to the teensy plate, unsweetened ice tea, I didnt drink at all and I kept away from the chili rellanos and kept with the super healthy shrimp thingy she prepared – go me!
Anywho, I just wanted to say hello to all and I hope everyone is beginning their January, their new Year, on a loving, positive, thankful note.
