I totally understand about the summer, it’s so tough. In Mexico my friend (who is totally skinny, but has food issues) spent the entire time covered up. It stopped her from doing things. I was pretty covered up most of the time, but I still got into the ocean. Otherwise, I’m always in capris and tank tops just like lolasphat.

i haven’t seen the booty shorts thank god, but i do know what you mean…i’ve said that every summer for the past 7! i am sitting in roughly the same spot as i was this time last year. i’m starting to realize my friends and family are noticing how much i cover up because while i will wear tank tops (not spagetti strap ones though), i am always in capri’s. and they comment all the time on how i never wear shorts.

Thanks girl for being so sweet. He certainly does not want to talk about anything and if I try, I’ll be asking for trouble and he’ll say something that will hurt me – even if it wasn’t his intention because he doesn’t always… think ahead lol… ah well.

He’s not available to me in that way, so I’m going to have to find other outlets – like posting here more and leaning on my girlfriends

Maybe he’s concerned for your emotional well-being, not necessarily your looks. I’m sure he just wants you to be happy, you know?
